Azerbaijan’s debut at the Venice Biennale with a national pavilion surprises the audience with a remarkable exhibition. Commissioner and curator Leyla Akhundzada together with curator Sabina Shikhlinskaya and organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, have selected works by 12 artists, most of them belonging to the younger generation: Tora Aghabeyova, Faig Ahmed, Rashad Alakbarov, Orkhan Aslanov, Chingiz Babayev, Rena Effendi, Ali Hasanov, Orkhan Huseynov, Elshan Ibrahimov, Tamilla Ibrahimova, Rauf Khalilov, Labyrinth art group.

Under the Title “Omnia mea,” a wide range of artistic approaches and techniques, including installation, video art, photography, performance, computer animation, and interactive works are presented in a cultural centre on Giudecca Island.
